“Room was seemingly renovated but not well. Paint was already peeling. The ac worked well but was very noisy but at least it drowned out the road noise. The room wasn’t very clean. Walking barefoot on the floor I could feel the grit and I found a used salt packet on the floor while walking between the bed and the wall! Acceptable for a night but at $270 a night extremely overpriced.”

“A beautiful spot in Kenora with an incredible view. Rooms were neat and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. Would stay there again!”

“The room (126) smelled musty and so much so they had air fresheners in the AC unit but they didn’t do any good. Normally I’d get used to the musty smell but this was bad enough I could smell it during the night. The room seemed fairly clean overall. The towels are pretty threadbare. I didn’t use anything at the hotel except the ice machine.”

“Absolutely loved our stay at the fabulous Stone House heritage home. Nicole and Nacho were most welcoming. They were prompt with all correspondence and always accessible. Our suite was a bright and spotless apartment style room. The interior of the home is beautifully renovated while still retaining its charm.
