You're spoiled for sightseeing choice when staying in Miyakojima. Yoshino Beach is an ideal place to kick off here, but there are lots of other worthy spots to enjoy. Imgya Marine Garden, Aragusuku Beach, and Imgya Beach are not far from the stretch of coastline and will fill in your day nicely.
