We had the best stay at the Dean Hotel. I highly recommend. Everything you want to see is a 5-35 min walk. Great for exploring the city. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond. Very helpful staff. Lovely clean rooms. Although we didn’t have a dog, I noticed someone with one and by reception there was a bowl of water and a bowl with dog treats. I can’t see any reason why there would be issues with taking a dog. If I had one, I would be happy to take it there.

The staff were less than helpful, There was no car parking anywhere near the hotel. It was student accommodation and not suitable for mature aged travellers. We chose not to stay here and found another motel.
