“Great”

“La Cucina exceeded our expectations in every way. Our family gathered from three places in Europe and the US to meet for time together mixed with seeing the best of Rome. This place is just as the photos suggest. We cooked in the magnificent kitchen and grilled on the oven / grill outside. We played pickle ball and the kids went swimming. Our host were available and always gracious. We are so thankful for the time we shared at the dining table and living room. And we played cards in the well……

“We were looking for an area off the normal tourist track and definitely found it here in Moricone. Beautiful country side, my only negative was there was a dreadful smell coming from the laundry, some form of sewer problem says the plumber in our group other than that the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked if small but a lovely quiet location”

“Siamo stati in tre famiglie in questa bella casa con piscina. I padroni di casa sono gentilissimi e molto accoglienti. La casa si trova in un punto strategico per visitare Spoleto, Orvieto, Perugia ma anche dei bellissimi villaggi medievali come Todi, Montefalco, Bevania, ecc La casa ha tre appartamenti separati con ingresso indipendente, ma c’e Una grande cucina in cui noi siamo stati in 11 senza problemi (colazione ma’ anche quando la sera faceva più fresco). Consiglieró sicuramente ad altri……

“Paula and Gianni are super nice, house was clean, rustic (i.e. no AC, but plenty of fans), super spacious and fun. I would highly recommend it. Calvi is probably one of the cutest towns in the vicinity and is 5 mins ride away.”

“Our family loved our stay at Paola's villa! It was great to be able to escape the city every day and come back to such a beautiful, quiet place. It was incredibly hot while we were there, so the pool was a perfect escape from the heat - very clean and the perfect temperature. Getting to and from Rome.was a breeze. The train takes about 50 minutes to get into central Rome. The schedule can be hit or miss, but we were able to just hop on a bus instead. The town of Castelnuovo was also amazing.……

“Zunächst möchte ich auf die freundliche Kommunikation eingehen. Die Antwort der Gastgeber bzw. zur Agentur war hervorragend. Der Besitzer des Hauses sehr charmant und die einzigartige Lage der Villa abseits dem Großstadtstress machen den Aufenthalt zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis. Die Villa bietet ausreichend Platz und hat alles was man benötigt. Die Aussicht und der Pool absolut sehenswert. In ca. 1 Stunde ist man in Rom angekommen und weitere Städte sind sehr gut erreichbar. “4 adulti, 3 ragazzi ed una cagnolina. Tutti molto soddisfatti, sia della casa dotata di tutti i comfort con un enorme giardino attrezzato ed una piscina che nella settimana di caldo torrido ha reso il soggiorno molto piacevole. Inoltre la posizione ci ha consentito di raggiungere agevolmente i luoghi che desideravamo visitare. Grazie”

“The house was gorgeous. We would have liked air conditioning in the bedrooms. It is in a room not needed or used. The garden furniture was a bit dodgy in places. However we loved our stay.”

“Super property and very attentive host. Property is very large and well equipped. Set on a hill it has fantastic views and makes the most of the setting with sun trap / pool and beautiful tended gardens. We had great weather in late September and travelled daily to Rime for the Ryder cup which was about 1hr by car. Wider towns have restaurants and food / markets and not plagued by tourists”

“Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen hebben we een geweldig verblijf gehad. Vanaf de grote veranda hadden we een schitteren uitzicht over de vallei. In deze vallei liepen schapen met de karakteristieke bellen om hun nek. Beslist niet storend, integendeel, het benadrukte alleen maar de mooie landelijke omgeving. Dorpjes en supermarkt zijn op redelijke afstand. Op 5 minuten een lekkere bakker ontdekt. Alles wel met de auto, omdat de wegen naar het huis en de dorpjes behoorlijk steil zijn. We zijn……

“Heerlijk appartement voor stellen of mensen met oudere kinderen. Wij hebben ons met kleine kinderen (3 en 5) ook vermaakt, vooral in het zwembad, maar stadjes zijn meer dan 30 minuten rijden en dat is vooral met 35+ graden wat veel. Als stel zouden we er ons hart opgehaald hebben met wandelen en eten en genieten van de fijne terrassen en faciliteiten die er voorhanden zijn. Het appartement heeft gelukkig airco wat echt een must was met de temperaturen. Het zwembad is niet groot maar perfect om……

“The Red House was an excellent place to stay. Otricoli and the surrounding area are just a short walk away, which means you can leave the car at home. The house was very clean and tidy, but remember to buy and place some ant traps if having insects around the place bothers you :) All in all, a top 5 star house and an excellent host”

“Mario and Guilia were very friendly and helpful. The house is pleasant. It's a good place to chill and get away from the busyness. The pool is fantastic (they also have floating stuff there to use) and the balcony a great place to have food (do bring anti muskito stuff). Kitchen well equiped. Beds are alright, but not great. We were two couples and a small child. The separate bedrooms (upstairs and downstairs worked nice for privacy) would recommend to stay”

“Our family (14 persons in the age 0-70 years) spent a week in this wonderfull House. We had a very good holdiday and the House is perfect for so many people. “Wir haben die Unterkunft für 5 Tage für einen Golfausflug unter Freunden gebucht. Das Haus ist sehr groß, mit 3 getrennten Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern, was für unsere Gruppe ideal war. Alles war makellos sauber. Wir haben die großzügige Terrasse mit der tollen Aussicht über die römischen Hügel ausgiebig genutzt. Die Kommunkation mit Giorgio lief schnell und unkompliziert.
