The Space:

Kinnera Cottage is one of those thoughtfully designed homes that immediately makes you feel relaxed and welcome. Designed and built by the owners as their sanctuary away from the city, the home is filled with warmth, personality and special touches collected over many years.



The three bedrooms are located downstairs, where they enjoy the cooler summer breezes.



Bedroom configuration:

• Bedroom 1 – Queen bed

• Bedroom 2 – Double bed

• Bedroom 3 – Two single beds



A full family bathroom with bathtub is also located downstairs.



From here, you can access the fully fenced backyard, making the property a great option for guests travelling with a dog. There is a BBQ for relaxed outdoor meals and a hot and cold outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach or on the river.



Alongside the house is a European-style laundry with a washing machine and dryer.



Upstairs is the beautiful open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Surrounded by greenery, this space has a wonderful treehouse feel and is perfect for relaxing together after a day exploring Mossy Point.



The very well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to comfortably prepare meals during your stay, whether you’re putting together an easy breakfast before heading to the beach or settling in for a relaxed dinner at home.



During the cooler months, the wood-burning fireplace makes the living area particularly cosy. There is also an additional half bathroom upstairs.



Two decks allow you to follow the sun throughout the day, while the sunsets from the front verandah can be spectacular.

The name Kinnera means “beach” in Nepalese, reflecting the owner's long connection with Nepal. Throughout the cottage you’ll find photographs and artefacts collected from Nepal, along with information about the charity she is involved with, adding a unique and personal story to the home.



The location is another highlight. The beach is around a 7-minute walk away, with the beautiful Tomaga River and Mossy Point waterfront nearby for swimming, kayaking, fishing and exploring. The popular Mossy Cafe is just down the road, with more cafés, shops and places to eat close by in Broulee and Tomakin.

Travelling with dogs

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Kinnera Cottage, and the fully fenced backyard gives them a safe space to enjoy during your stay.

We simply ask that pets stay off beds, lounges, and furniture. As there is no dog door, dogs will need to stay outside in the fenced yard if left unattended at the property.

You’ll also find information at the cottage on some great dog-friendly walks nearby.



For families travelling with younger children, baby gates are provided at the top and bottom of the stairs, along with a high chair.



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the home, its two decks and the fully fenced backyard.

Self-check-in is available, allowing you to arrive and settle in at your own pace - check-in details will be sent 24 hours prior to your arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Mossy Point is one of the South Coast’s hidden gems, a peaceful coastal village surrounded by beaches, bushland and the beautiful Tomaga River.

Start the morning with a walk to the beach, enjoy a swim or paddle around the river and waterfront, or head out for coffee and breakfast at one of the local favourites.



The popular Mossy Cafe is close by, while the Mossy Point waterfront and nearby Boat Shed are also great spots to enjoy the relaxed local atmosphere.



Broulee and Tomakin are only a short drive away and offer additional cafés, shops, takeaway options and everyday essentials.



The area is a great base for:

Getting Around:

The beach is around a 7-minute walk away, with the Tomaga River, Mossy Point waterfront and local cafés also nearby.

For groceries, additional cafés, restaurants and takeaway options, Broulee and Tomakin are only a short drive away.

A car is recommended if you want to explore Mogo, Batemans Bay, and the wider Eurobodalla region.

• A highchair is available for younger guests.

• The home has internal stairs, with bedrooms and the main bathroom downstairs and the living area upstairs.
