“One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.
Our room at Vida in Manama had a persistent sewage smell throughout our entire stay. We reported it on the day we arrived, yet the issue remained unresolved. Spending our stay in a room smelling of sewage was unacceptable.
At checkout, the deputy manager approached us to apologize and promised to contact us via WhatsApp to arrange compensation. That message never came, and no compensation was provided. Making a promise and failing to follow……

“Overall, this was one of, if not the worst experiences I have had with a hotel/resort.
I do not recommend at all.
Most of the property and the amenities are not well maintained.
For the most part, the staff were helpful and reaponsive. They were doing their best to keep things running, but the resort is way overdue for an upgrade.
The AC of the kitchenette area and the downstairs bwdroom was not working.
The toilets smell like swege.
The furniture and beds have clear signs of wear and……

“The key did not work on checking in. They had to change the battery in the lock to get in the room. This tells me housekeeping couldn’t get in there either which is consistent with the sheets needed to be changed and the room needed to be cleaned.
After some time of turning the air conditioner off the room smelled of ammonia. The balcony doors had to be opened and the AC turned back on to clear the room out.
The staff was helpful and corrected everything as soon as it was pointed out except……
