"The property is well outside of the city. The restaurant doesn’t seem to actually function for dinners, never saw anyone having a meal, and chose to explore beyond the hotel for meals other than breakfast as a result. Breakfast selection was minimal and inadequate, but the cappucino and espresso coffee at their convenience store and for breakfast service was outstanding. Request a room in the new area of the hotel, old section has fixtures that need updating and is not where you want to stay for...
"The host was very helpfull and friendly but the hotel is not worth 4 stars!! We had to change rooms after two days due to infestation of ants in our bathroom. Every evening we would be woken up by loud noise coming from the streets. I would never go back. The shower was old and had only the big shower rain, no small shower head. But again, the host did his best and parking was good. The parking space is behind a locked door. "

"We had an amazing nights stay. The hotel is so unique, a real sanctuary! Fantastic views of Vesuvius and also the sea from breakfast. The rooms are decorated in keeping with the history of the building but with a modern and inventive twist. The breakfast was very nice too.
