Nagoya Congress Center hosts an array of functions and events. Look up its schedule to see if anything interesting lines up with your stay.
This events and conferences venue is in Atsuta-ku, but Nagoya Congress Center of course isn't the only thing to see around this area. If you've got time for more sights, Nagoya Castle is worth stopping at as well.
