"The hotel is in a quiet area just outside Groningen. Easy to reach by car and if you wish to visit the city centre the P+R is convenient. Car parking is free and plentiful. Our room had a balcony and views over the countryside. The room itself was spacious and spotless. The reception staff were polite friendly and knowledgeable. We had dinner on both nights of our stay in the restaurant which was in my opinion excellent. It offered a wide variety of dishes for a very reasonable cost. Again the staff were top class. Apparently the hotel had just been renovated and the previous beds had been changed? Both of us have bad backs and sleeping on this sort of divided bed was absolutely horrible. So unfortunately, both of our backs were in a great deal of pain for the duration of our stay. "
