"For the price, this was a really good hotel. The views of the lake are great. We really enjoyed the owner and son. Chatting with them is nice. Lots of food options and shopping around. Their restaurant had great BBQ food. AND, pale ale (first I saw in all of Nepal). I recommend a stay. But dont expect a palace...you pay for a good stay. You get it. "

"Comfortable room after asking to change when saw room offered on arrival. Rooms donor look as good as photos. Only real minus was the level of noise from 6 am as guests getting ready for early safaris banged doors and talked loudly in corridors outside of rooms."

"Hi, my name is Dhan. I booked this hotel through hotels.com & had some reservation about it because I didn't know that much about this hotel ( Kathmandu Mantra). When I went there, OMG, I couldn't believe it. The hotel is brand new, managers/ owners(2 Young gentlemen) gave me very good reception. They are very polite, friendly & energetic. "I am an incredible stay at Swarga Heritage Hotel. I was kindly upgraded to the premium Queen for my stay and it was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. The hotel staff and the owner/architect Rahul were incredibly kind and hospitable during my stay. They helped to organize a pick up from the airport and a private tour of Kathmandu. The owner Rahul was very communicative over whatsapp and helped me to find great restaurants and sights to see around the city. They also offer a fantastic breakfast in the mornings as well. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, I can't recommend this place enough and am looking forward to returning during future visits in Kathmandu. "
