"The owners were very nice and accommodating and the wings and drinks at the bar were really good. I can appreciate being in a historical hotel but these one needs lots of work still and it shows."

Our room was clean, comfortable and warm. The beds were comfortable I slept well. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. They had waffles and it has been years since I had a waffle. Yum is the word! Beki was just incredible at breakfast. she was so helpful. I left my glasses in the room and she was there to help me. She is great!

Pros:
Clean Room. Great stay and hotel staff and folks staying there are very pet friendly. Frankie our golden retriever pup had a good time and all of the staff adored her. She was one tired pup after the trip. One of the cleanest pet friendly hotels I’ve stayed at. Pet fee was minimal compared to other places. NOTE: The Fairfield Marriott in town is NOT pet friendly (and I have status with Marriott).
Appeared newly renovated. Will definitely book again later this fall

If you are looking to go back in time and enjoy the simpler times, then this is the hotel you want to stay at. The hotel hospitality was great and my room was like a blast from the past. I ask that you give them grace because they are a work in progress. I will be returning.
