“We were a group of three families (plus a dog) and the house and gardens were phenomenal. The kitchen and the secret garden were our main areas for convening. All facilities were great, and as an avid cook, the kitchen set up and equipment was top notch. ”

“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has……

“The cottage had a visiting Pizza van ,pizza were amazing, also they have a stable bar .the cottage was amazing, all the little touches ,my son and his wife arrived first and they text to say how amazing the cottage is ”

“Having made a late booking we were delighted with the fast response from the host, Claire. The accommodation was clean, tidy and cosy on arrival. It was well equipped and spacious. We stayed for 4 nights and had dinner in the local pubs, all of which were friendly and great food. Our accommodation was handy to York, so great for getting around. We will be returning again in April and have booked to stay again with York Boutique Lets. Both Claire and Jo were exceptionally helpful.”
