“A warm welcome from Jemma and her team. Remarkably quiet rooms despite being above a family friendly pub and on the high street. The breakfast was one of, if not the, best I’ve been offered anywhere in a hotel in the UK or US in years. We loved staying here. ”

“It was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. Ideal location near to Cooling Castle were able to walk back after the wedding well with a torch. Staff were all friendly. Would recommend.”

“I stayed at the Woolpack for a long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better or ore friendly place to stay! The rooms was immaculate and had everything you could want or need, the breakfast hamper is such a nice touch and already included in the price. The staff all made me feel so welcome, a good funny bunch that went above and beyond. The atmosphere was even better with the live band in the bar Saturday night, having a good dance to some real music. Would 100% stay again! ”

“The accommodation was excellent. Remind me a bit like premier inn. Beds large and comfy. Very clean rooms and bath. Shower was super. No biscuits. Mention to staff member and gave me a whole pack of digestives. Great stay and great food. A definite return ”
