Great location for White Mountain hiking

Great property for four adults who needed their own space. Excellent amenities and layout. Lovely location. Easy access to lots of hiking trails.

Great Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location with easy access to activities. The condo was very clean, comfortable, with plenty of space. The bedroom & bath on the first floor were perfect for my parents. My 9 year old loved the pool and clubhouse.

Always love Deer Park

Deer Park has always been great for a family getaway. Plenty for my teenagers to do and I don’t have to provide transportation because it’s easily accessible by foot or bicycle. And a relaxing place for a parent.

Great Stay!

We had a great time at the property and it was well equipped for our needs. The host was responsive and helpful. We did have an issue with the cleaning of the house since we had requested early check-in but sorted out soon. The clubhouse is currently closed due to COVID, would have loved to use all the facilities.

Great location

Host responded quick. Great location, near many activities and NH popular to do. My kids were bummed the pool and jacuzzi was under construction( would of been nice to know ahead of time) But we were happy with the private little beaches on site. We got plenty of River access near the site! The home had everything to accommodate my family with kids .

Fun in the sun

We had a great time floating around the lake or exploring Loon Mountain during the day and having a lot of laughs while playing games in the condo at night. We had 3 adult couples staying in the condo, us and our adult children with their partners. Plus we had another 5 friends that stayed in the same complex join us for dinner and games and we had plenty of room. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Summer Getaway

Deer park is great! Our family has been coming to this resort for over 20 years. This unit was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint is there is no AC. The humidity on the 2nd floor with the high ceiling was almost unbearable to sleep. We did have to go out and buy box fans which helped a little. The unit description also stated this is a bathtub and a grill (at the unit) which was inaccurate. Overall the stay was good and would recommend.

Great location

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. Some of the pros: great neighborhood, each bedroom had a bathroom, close access to lake and rec room, centrally located, great stove, owner was very quick to respond, a lot of pamphlets on activities to do in the area, comply beds. Cons: grill wasn’t working at the time we stayed (part was in order), painting the outside of the building (lack of privacy), not all the lights worked, no empty cabinets for food, no AC, tv in the second bedroom wasn’t hooked up or working, we thought this unit was riverfront but it was not. Overall we would recommend this place!!

Vacation and college move in! I’m

House is exactly as described! Was alittle hot with no A/C but opening the windows helped a ton. My only complaint was the house was very very dusty. All light fixtures had cob webs and dust and under the tables had dirt and food. Our family loves the area and the space is amazing, plenty of room to sleep, lounge and fully stocked with everything a family could need!

Deer Park Resort Repeat Family of 4

Clean unit with plenty of space for our family. Nice and quiet location that is between the lake and the Cascade rapids. The grill was unusable, so we needed to use the community grills under the covered section by the rec. center each night. This is our 3rd year staying as a family at the resort but not in this unit. Our family would have rated this condo a 5 star all around if it had air conditioning. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to the fact that it was far too hot and uncomfortable for sleeping.

Amazing trip!

Stephanie was very I formative from the minute we booked our vacation. Any questions I had were answered promptly. We were very pleased with the condo, and the property! I have two boys ages 6 and 9 that are not always easy to please, and they didn’t want to leave!!! I had some difficulty connecting with the internet from my laptop; however, Stephanie made all the necessary calls to correct the problem immediately! The property had lots for the kids to do, we especially liked the Cascade River... the rocks to play and slide down... they loved the lake, indoor pool, and the recreation room (pool, and ping pong)! Thank you for the opportunity to utilize your condo, and I would recommend it to anyone that I talk to or that asks! My boys are already asking us when we are going back! Krista

Deceptive pricing

Nine months after FULL payment was made, I was told price increased $300 and payment of this $300 was due immediately. Having planned this vacation with family for almost a year, I paid the extra $300 so as not to be cancelled ( with no other options so close to arrival date) and disappoint the family. I cannot believe VRBO allows this deceptive price practice. Advertised swimming pool amenity was closed for our whole stay as well. Upon arrival we found dirty and stained towels, dirty showers and many cobwebs. Bed comforters also looked dirty.

Great location but even more amazing host

The location is probably the first reason you'll enjoy staying here. Very close to Franconia Notch state park and the Flume Gorge, amongst other places for great hiking or skiing in the winter. The private lake on the property has a great small beach and provides great swimming, especially for kids. The rec center has a hot tub and pool, along with courts that we did not use. And, the property is right next to a river with small rapids along rocks that are excellent for tubing and overall very fun! We spent an entire morning there going down the river or finding whirlpools and waterfalls to sit in. The home itself is beautiful, with plenty of space for a group of friends or a family. Excellent kitchen and dining area, and grill on the back deck. Comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. Would not hesitate to stay again. The best thing about this all though, is the HOST! Stephanie was absolutely wonderful. Super helpful with tips on what to do in the area, very responsive to questions, very accommodating of special requests in general. Went out of her way to make sure we had a good stay.

Another Great Stay

This property is perfect for our family of 4 and could easily work for having extended family join as well. Having 3 bathrooms and 2-3 bedrooms works great for our size family with room for many more. There is a master suite, a full size bed with bunk beds also n the 2nd bedroom. Downstairs there is a game room that has a pull out couch that makes another full bed. The living room also has a pull out couch that could sleep our whole family of 4 if we wanted to. The kitchen is fully stocked and it works great for dining in as there is a very nice dining room table that can seat 8-10. Having a laundry room is also a giant bonus for us as we do not have to worry about the extra packing that people tend to do on longer vacations. We love having all of the extra space and freedom this condo supplies us for our summer vacations. This is our 2nd stay here and we are already preparing for next summer as well. It's a 5 minute walk to the pool/lake/river as it is centrally located in the complex. There is so much to do thats within 5-10 minutes that it works great for having attention starved children. We will always recommend not only this property but pretty much any available condo in Deer Park.

Une belle place comme base pour explorer Franconia Notch

Très belle propriété dans un resort. Très bien équipé. Les sentiers de hiking étaient proches. Le lac était parfait pour relaxer en fin de journée. Les installations du resort sont un peu désuètes et certaines sont payantes (salle de jeux entre autre). Certaines activités listées comme la descente en tube sur la rivière n’existent plus. Plusieurs toiles d’araignées et de la poussière à certains endroits. Mais séjour très agréable dans l’ensemble. Très tranquille.

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Park but this unit needed some TLC. The remodeled kitchen was beautiful, but the rest of the unit needed cleaning and updating. Cobwebs in the lights, downstair bathroom needed complete TLC. The upstairs bunk bed was in such disrepair that my grandchild was afraid to sleep in the upper bunk. The bunk leaned away from the wall about 6 inches. The lower bunk had upper mattress parts hanging down. The heating instructions of only using one heater in the dining area made the unit feel very cold in the downstairs bedroom and very warm upstairs. Although we enjoyed the resort and amenities, this unit could use some care from the owners.
