"There was a soap dispenser, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers but all were empty. There were coffee cups in the room but no coffee machine. The couch had a dirty pull-out bed. The staff was nice, you have to check in in the Best Western, but you don't get the breakfast they serve."

Charming 2-bedroom house in historical Galesburg neighborhood

"This is a jewel of a house in Galesburg! Perfectly clean and well decorated inside. The host was thoughtful, very responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The neighborhood was walkable (and the host had even provided a walking tour guide book). There were great restaurants (Landmark Cafe - yum!) and breweries (Reserve Artisan Ales) within walking distance. We hope to stay here again when we come back to town. "
"We had a great stay, I would recommend this place to anyone that is willing to climb a ladder to a loft to sleep. That being said the smaller cabins chairs in the living room area aren’t the most comfortable. The fire wood will cost you 20 if you wish to have a fire maybe bring your own. I also don’t feel that I should have to strip the bed or take the trash out if I am paying a cleaning fee. The bed is also not the most comfortable in the world. We did have a great time though. Just leaving these comments so maybe it will help some prepare better than we did. I would definitely go back. "

"We were all impressed with the size of the house. The pictures don't do it justice. The pool and the deck were fantastic. The owner messaged me within minutes each time. There were little welcoming touches the owner left for us all through the house. We really enjoyed our stay and have plans to return. "

Thru the week we had several friends and families stayed over a night or two while others just visited for a day as we were working in a Christian ministry in the area. The home is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The host is quick to respond to any questions or needs. Can’t thank them enough! "

"This hotel is well maintained and clean. The staff were great. I locked my key card in the room, and the desk clerk was really kind about making a new. I was in the area during Hog Days in Kewanee, and this was the only hotel available. I was skeptical after a really awful experience at a Super 8 in Sioux City, IA.
But the Super 8 in Galva is great! I have only good things to say. "
