"Our stay at Fern and Forest was fantastic! We stayed in the three-bedroom unit, which definitely offered a boutique charm. Everything you could possibly need is provided during your stay. Fern and Forest is conveniently right off of Route 17 but sits in a very quiet, relaxing spot. The host could not be more available or attentive to anything you need. This will definitely be the spot where we stay when we return to the area!"

"Pulling in on a small farmhouse to the back of the property right on the Rappahannock River with a great waterfront view. Every morning I would wake up to the sunrise and it was beautiful and the smell of the ocean in the air."

The reason for Good and not Excellent was the cupboard had the ironing board and iron inside but no hangers or rack to hang our clothes. There were four large round hooks placed high onto the wall over the the suitcase table. A short or disabled person would have to step up on top of the table to reach them."

"This is the fourth summer we have stayed at Shore Fun and we love this place! The house is clean, there is lots of space and the kitchen is well stocked. Some new appliances this year were a nice surprise. The property and pool are well maintained. This area is quiet and a great place for relaxation. Owner is fantastic and communication is great. "It's not the Ritz Csrlton, but it's clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and inexpensive. It was a safe place for me and quiet. They had a little problem with my check out. They thought it was one day earlier but I went to the office and they assured me it's was their mistake. They were very good about it and apologized. Overall I only stayed there to sleep and enjoyed my time there 😊 😃 😀"
