“We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!”

“Wonderfully scenic property along a creek. The extensive outdoor spaces were great and we enjoyed the comfortable seating by the fire pit. Communication with the host was timely. I would book again. A few notes for future travelers - the upstairs bedrooms are not furnished as shown in the photos - more like dorm bed frames now - not sure if this is temporary? “I was not made aware that the creek was closed due to drought. I was not made aware that there was a fee to fish in that creek even before it was declared closed due to drought. The trout farm was also closed which i was not made aware of. I would not have added a day to my reservation had I known this. The cabin could use a bigger fridge and softer mattresses but otherwise good. Someone should have made us aware of the stream closure before i added a night but they didnt.”
