I chose the Continental Hotel because it was well-located for the activities I wished to participate in. I could walk or catch the bus to both Town Beach or Chinatown easily. I had my accommodation upgraded unexpectedly, which was very pleasing, as I had thought the price I had paid was much more than I expected for a 9 day stay. The cleaning varied according to who was doing the cleaning, but overall OK. The staff, particularly the front of house team, were extremely pleasant and helpful. Floors were so dirty my 11month old would end up black by the end of the day. Came home with hundreds of bed bug bites. 2 bedroom apartment is actually just 2 hotel rooms next to each other with a joining entry room. Felt unsafe to leave my children in the other room on their own so my husband and I had to split up with each of our children. Bedding had a blood stain. Staff were friendly and accommodating
