"The four of us loved our weekend stay at Sunnynook Cottage. Bedding configuration suited us, and it was such a treat to have all the linen not only supplied, but beds made up and bathroom stocked with quality towels. "Appreciated the quiet surroundings, the fire and the provision of the pre-cut logs and pine cones, the comfortable beds, the quality of the crockery, cutlery and utensils. The weather on the Saturday was hot, dry with not a cloud in sight so we fished from the wharf, which was only a few minutes away, and were rewarded with large trevally - caught on squid bait. Aotea beach was worth the 20 minute drive, fished for a while from the beach until it clouded over, returned to the bach just as it...

"This was a great place to chill out, with a wonderful outlook over Aotea Harbour and very quiet at this time of year (end April). Neat and clean with very a well equipped kitchen. It was comfortable for our stay but expect it could get very hot in summer, and be cold in winter (only one small panel heater for a large space)."

"My wife and I stayed at Whale Bay Surf Bach for 4 nights in April and agreed it was one of the best stays we have ever had. The location and views are incredible. Nothing beats checking the surf from your bed, taking a private entrance to one of the best breaks in the country, and then relaxing in the jacuzzi with ocean views. The property itself was very clean and had all the right amenities. Hope to return again soon!"
