"The house was fresh and nice. A very good location close to the beach and restaurants. A small minimarket was just a 5-minute walk away, and a slightly larger grocery store was 15 minutes away on foot. The garden furniture was a bit worn. The air conditioning was only available on the ground floor in the living room, but there was none on the middle floor where all the bedrooms were. It got unbearably hot. "Exactly what you would expect of a hotel of this type: well appointed rooms, friendly staff, access to a good standard of food and drinks. Very similar to many of the hotel chains around the world. Staff were very helpful on arrival in helping us orientate ourselves with the city. We were only staying for one night so there wasn't much opportunity to fully experience the hotel but overall the facilities seemed to be of a high standard. "

"As two kiwi travellers, we had an excellent time at Hotel Los Angeles. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, beautiful views from the balcony and nice and quiet. Very close to the centre of town and Alhambra. The pool was very nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious and probably the highlight of our stay. Would highly recommend this place, thank you Los Angeles!! "

"If you are going to Alhambra the location could not be better. Literally right across the street. But it’s still a very peaceful and quiet area. Staff were exceptionally helpful, and building is in very good shape. For as inexpensive as it is, a great value. Only issue was the AC did not work well at all and had a musty odor, which was an issue on 99 degree afternoons. That was likely an issue that only affected our room, however, as the air doesn’t seem to be central."
