“The property is absolutely beautiful, well maintained and clean. The bullhead and perch that my kids caught out of the pond were huge and they caught quite a few of them over our stay. If you are looking for a place just to relax or to catch some fish this is it. Communication with the host was great and check-in was simple.”

“There was a winter storm that came through, but we expected nothing less, The owner was out of town, but his nephew who was caring for the place made sure that the snow was cleared and we were not stuck. We couldn’t have asked for more. My kids and I had such a wonderful time.”

“Vanderkamp was the ideal setting for small family 50th Anniversay celebration. Although the weather wasn’t perfect, we were able to be outside for 2 of our 4 days – hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing, and playing yard games. Off the dock it was very weedy and mucky, but it was fun to watch the fish and snakes. Inside there was ample room to either be together or find quiet places to read or relax. The kitchen was WELL-stocked with dishes, glasses, mugs, and silverware. The cooking……
