"It's possible that I should have read the description more closely, but I was expected a private villa, perhaps behind the host's home? That's not the case. You are staying in a semi-private part of someone's home with them. It is a beautiful home, and the owners were very nice. Still, I was thrown at first after an exhausting day of travel - so just be aware. It was nice to have bikes available to us, but know none are kid-sized and they're not in the best of shape. Bed and furnishings very comfortable.. whilst at the residence you would not know you were so close to the hustle and hustle of Brugge. Lovely stroll into city appreciating the architecture. A city break witha homely touch to rest from the day, revitalising in the most peaceful setting, ready to start again. So many beautiful touches from Katrien, who is the hidden gem.
