"Impeccably clean, quiet, and in a very convenient location. Included all the amenities I needed, and then some. Close to many hiking trails and small towns like Chestertown (check out the Bullhouse restaurant) and North Creek (Gore Mountain gondola, Izzy’s Market & Deli, Barkeater Chocolates). It’s also a quick drive to Lake George, but I was looking to avoid crowds. Nice bonus to have Tripp Pond on the property for swimming and kayaking (hint: arrive early in the day or later in the afternoon for a chance to claim one of the umbrella-covered sites on the beach). I was looking to unplug for a relaxing long weekend getaway, and this place gave me all I was looking for. Thanks!!"
"Beautiful log cabin in a very peaceful setting on the Hudson River. We spent most of the time on the large deck in the front of the cabin with a river view. Lots of swimming and fishing steps away. Easy drive to Lake George. Great communication with host. Highly recommend!"

"This is a fantastic house, and we really enjoyed our stay.Upon our arrival it was clean.Air conditioning upstairs handled the 90 degree weather with no problems.The downstairs, though not air conditioned, was pleasantly cool during the hottest of our stay.The grill is HUGE and easy to clean.It does have some minor quirks of an older house, but none of these had a negative impact on our experience.The house is isolated, but not too far away to make day trips possible.We enjoyed how pitch black it got at night.You could really enjoy the stars."
"We had a wonderful week at the cabin. It was very tranquil and very relaxing. Loved watching the hummingbirds and chipmunks. The sound of the river was so relaxing and Lake George is just minutes away. Pam was a great communicator and had some great suggestions for local restaurants. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend and would love to go back in the fall. "
