Heartland Hotel was a great place to stay. I really liked the sliding entrance door to the room. The room was well laid out and had a fridge, kettle and variety of teas. Buffet breakfast had eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, and the usual continental food. The bed was also very comfortable.

The house met all our needs for a one night stay in Haast. Note that there is construction occurring around the property (ie looks different from the photos), but once inside the house is very cosy and inviting.
