"I didn't like the fact that the beach has only been accessible during the opening hours and that one had to reserve a spot a day before or more (deck chair and umbrella) and that one had to pay for that (EUR 36 for 2 during low season) for the whole day. I would like to go the beach for 1-2 hours in the morning, enjoy the sunrise, leave for a bit, have some fun during the day elsewhere and then maybe spend again time at the beach if I feel like it. And I wouldn't mind to bring my own towel and lay on the sand but unfortunately, that is not possible in the whole village."

"I put the hotel name in my SatNav, it took me to a blocked street. I got out, walked around, eventually finding the hotel. At the hotel, check-in was poor, I got my car, came back and was met by somebody who, well, did nothing. I joined a long queue of elderly folk settling their accounts, and once at the front, the guy who did nothing then seeks to check me in - after I have waited.... The room had AC, but could only go as low as 19C, so it took a long time to cool, the room was hot & sticky. So sticky I took my shirt off and sat on the bed with my laptop on my knee to work. I could not get the WiFi to work, so had to hotspot via my cellphone. During this time, my naked back was against the bed's headboard which had a foam/plastic covering. When I moved, this stuck to me, peeling off the headboard, I had to scrape it off my back! When I checked out I spoke of these things to the reception.....they laughed at me."

"This property was beyond our expectations. Not only were the staff friendly always, the hotel gave back to its guests. Unusual in my experience. Breakfast and beach lounges included in the room rate. Pop sickles or watermelon passed out to cool you while you sunbathe as well as water. Live music every evening. The town itself totally walkable. Wonderful wonderful. "

"Our family had a wonderful experience staying at Francesco's house. The location is right smack in the middle of main old town street. We had everything we could possibly need within walking distance (i.e. restaurants of all price ranges, grocery store, gelato and crepe shops, pharmacy, and beach). Francesco met us in the middle of the night upon our arrival and took the time to give us a walk-through and an orientation about the town. He also had a summary sheet of all the restaurants and attractions that are nearby Alassio.We were lucky to stay there right before tourist season starts, so the street noise was bearable. The weather was perfect, and we were able to air the house with open windows without any need for AC. Thank you Francesco!"

"The owners were always available and ready for any queries and questions. The property is well located, surrounded by many nearby point of interest. My stay was very pleasant and I was very pleased to see how well maintained it is. Once I have the opportunity again, I’d very much like to come back here again. "

"The checkin process was difficult, as the communication said the office was open until 7pm to collect keys. It wasn't, and they had sent a message with a video on how to retrieve keys which I could not open.The shower was leaking which was not a great issue, but also it had not been cleaned properly and had mould.The duvet on the bed was badly stained by previous guests.Nice spacious apartement."
