Beach Rental with Private Pool!! Peaceful Costa Rica laid back beach town. House and pool built 2017, in the lovely little surf town of Esterillos Oeste, in beautiful Costa Rica. Open up your heart and let Costa Rica in! You won't regret it. The rental is bright, new, clean and comfy 2 bedroom, 2nd story apartment and one bath. AC in all rooms, well appointed kitchen, and comfortable living area. Hear the waves breaking on the beach from the balcony, overlooking the pool. Now let’s head outside to your private pool and gated beach path to the pristine uncrowded beach. You're in Costa Rica for the beautiful outdoors, it's Paradise. Live among the locals, ex-patriots, surfers and tourists from all over the world., just a few blocks to the grocery store, restaurants and bars in Esterillos Oeste. Sit in or explore the tide pools at mid tide, and climb out to the famous Esterillos mermaid statue at low tide on the smooth volcanic reef behind the house. Listen for the (loud) flock of Scarlet Macaws that eat almonds regularly in the trees on the beach behind the house! If you come at the right time of year (May-ish), mangos are falling off the trees everywhere! In the mornings, wake up just before the sunrise, and listen to the chorus of birds, welcoming the new day. Take a walk on the secluded beach and watch the sun come up. In the evenings, watch the sunset on that same beach or take a leisurely walk to town and enjoy some of the great food, and drinks at our local establishments. On the weekends, catch a local band playing in the bars and restaurants, enjoy the local color and unique people that live, work and visit Esterillos. Jump in the car and drive about 20 minutes to Jaco for casinos, bars and nightlife, beach tourist shops, bakery, butcher shop, massages and wonderful restaurants. World famous surfing in Playa Hermosa, or for those less experienced, rent a surf board in Oeste, and surf on the beach behind the house. Surf lessons are available in town at Brets Boards. Horse back riding with Discovery Horse tours, ATV tours, Manuel Antonio National Park only 45 minutes away, Crocodile Tours, Zip Lines, Fishing and Boat Charters, Mango Monkey tours, all a short driving distance away. Caretaker/concierge onsite to answer questions, arrange transportation, meals, shopping, tours, or assist with local recommendations. Cancellations: In spite of our "No Cancellation Policy," we will give a FULL refund, if you cancel and we are able to rebook the dates. If we are able to rebook some of the dates, we will refund you for those dates. In the case of travel restrictions resulting in airport closures, as with COVID, we will refund all payments in full. We rented their big house, too, so 8 adults spent a fantastic week at this very special location. Wildlife is abundant, as are the kind, generous, and helpful locals. Walking distance to 2 little markets with abundant supplies. Local restaurants are walkable and GOOD. Not to be missed: ask Nancy and Lorenzo to connect you with Christian who will secure transportation, adventures, and even prepare delicious meals for you. This concierge treatment is unbeatable for both price and value! And, the lady across the driveway entrance can also cook for you- outstanding authentic Costa Rica cuisine. Sunsets and sunrises are among the most stunning we have ever witnessed. The tides provide excellent rock adventures (low tide) and fabulous swimming and surfing (high tide). Avid walkers, we spotted dozens of Macaws, monkeys, and more natural wonders. So grateful to Nancy and Lorenzo for sharing this piece of paradise with us. ##### Sheila C. The house was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. The town is nice and not touristy at all, more quiet and local feeling although there are expats living nearby. The host and his local point of contact Lorenzo were exceptional to work and interact with. Lorenzo may not tell you but be aware he is a chef so you may be able to reach out to him for private cooking, if we had known we would have hired him. The beach in front of the house has excellent waves for short and longboard surfing, and an area which fills with little tide pools at low tide for decent swimming with safer currents. The only issue we had with the house was no hot water pressure in the shower. The property manager immediately had a plumber come to the house and tried everything possible to fix it but ultimately we had to use hot water from a bucket and a cup if we wanted a hot shower. I have all faith that by the time you read this review that issue will be fixed, but id ask first if this is a priority for you. ##### Michael V. Danny and Felipe the local managers were very responsive and made us feel very comfortable. There are two bedrooms one with 4 beds one with one Queen. The bedroom with 4 beds 2 bunks there's a kitchen Dinette and Wi-Fi. We had our own full but when the front property was not occupied they allowed us to cut through Straight to the beach and use the other pool that was very nice. Make sure to ask for a hose so you can wash off when you come back from the beach. Esterillos Oeste is is a typical Costa Rican town on the beach not too busy beautiful homes next to homes that have not become so beautiful yet everybody feel safe there's a little store and restaurants around it's really a great place. ##### Judah H. The booking process was seamless. The property manager is available 24 seven to make any arrangements you and your family might like. This home was perfect for our family of four during our first family trip to Costa Rica. It is perfectly located right on the Pacific ocean with a beautiful swimming pool to help you cool off. Esther Rios Oeste is a very small town but the convenient store is about two blocks away. Two very nice restaurants are also within walking distance. So are surfboard rentals. During our stay, we saw scarlet macaws, wild parakeets, monkeys, red squirrels and egrets. There were also many other tropical birds. Mangoes drop from the trees on the property and you can hear the sound of the waves from the balcony. The home is about 20 minutes to Hakko which has plenty of shopping, restaurants and souvenir places. To the self is the Manuel Antonio national Park. While staying at this home, we also went to the nearby CR Beach Barn for a horseback ride on the beach at sunset that was absolutely breathtaking. We also went white water rafting and stopped at a waterfall through Unique Tours. However, any activities can also be booked through Felipe or Danny who work with the property owner. The apartment was very clean and the tile is beautiful! The air conditioning worked great. The location makes a very short walk to La Sirena bar/Resteruant. Felipe took care of the only glitch, instantly. No TP😳. Macaws and a couple toucans hang out in the trees in the front of the property! Super cool! I would rent this again for a shorter trip again. There are a number of good restaurants and a well-stocked store nearby in the village which was very convenient! Mind that the provided kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans are very basic in case you plan on cooking your own meals. Liked the little pool. We rented this house for my mom and we had the main house. It worked excellent as she had her own space. The house itself is very nice and has everything you need. Mar 14, 2017 #### Tree House feel, steps from the beach My husband and I have spent the last 2 months enjoying this sweet, new, two bedroom casita. Built on the second story this little home features a green tree view from every window. It is cool and comfortable even with out the a.c. and catches the sounds and breezes from the sea just a three minute walk away. The cabin and has absolutely everything you will need, comfy beds, beach towels, full kitchen, washer and most of all the constant sound of waves! Esterillos is a wonderful town with fun surf, beautiful beaches, Scarlett macaws, and if you walk in the early morning north on the beach you are likely to see monkeys or an occasional sloth. We highly recommend this safe secure and comfortable home for a memorable vacation in Costa Rica. ##### Tracy S.
