"This is a basic budget hotel. This is not a problem if the price is set accordingly. As it was the feria the price was 200euros a night and our expectation was much greater than what could be delivered. The breakfast was...not worth stopping for, the drinks machine could not produce hot water for tea. The bedroom was at best functional but smelt badly of...sewage? The staff were friendly and helpful, a redeeming feature, and the car park close.by. The situation in the middle of town is great....

"This is a beautifully situated property overlooking Jean and the surrounding mountains. The breakfast room was immense, with a high timbered ceiling with large windows overlooking the valley. The food selection was abundant and varied. The orange juice and coffee was fresh and delicious . The service attentive. We had a lovely balconey where we enjoyed wine and cheese."

"What a charming place. The location is perfect inside of the ruins, close to main plaza. Free and 24hr parking. The price incredible. For being in the middle of town, it was not loud and the rooms were dark in the morning so you can sleep in. Definitely adds to feeling you are back into the 16th Century."

"This was an unusual place to stay overnight on our way further South in Spain. The location was accurately given by both Google Maps and Waze. You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark. We were a bit nervous about the entry process using links on our phones but it was all very easy in practice. Just be sure to have mobile signal & power in your battery. We had the place to ourselves so it felt like staying in a huge Airbnb. The kitchen facilities were very useful. One big piece of advice; there are no restaurants or food shops in the near vicinity so I’d suggest doing a food shop before arrival if you don’t want to drive again later. There’s a large Carrefour about 5 mins drive away."

As we're the public area, bar, dining room, court yard & lounge. Breakfast was very good. An advantage for us on our road trip was secure parking at the hotel for a small charge."
