Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu by IHG
"Excellent hotel. Excellent location. Excellent service. However, it is expensive. Buffet was pricey. Breakfast was pricey. Dinner was pricey. Rooms were pricey."
The Moso Vanuatu
"The staff were absolutely amazing. Friendly, helpful, and exceptionally personable. I honestly couldn't speak more highly of them. The resort itself was stunning. The location was fantastic, with an easy walk across to the other side of the island where you'll find the most beautiful beach. We stayed in a hilltop villa, and the views from our room were breathtaking. It was the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and escape from everyday life. The only reason for my slightly lower rating was the food. While it was delicious and well prepared, it wasn't quite what I had hoped for. I was looking forward to enjoying more traditional local cuisine, with an abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, and seafood. Instead, the menu felt quite Westernised. I'm sure there are reasons for this, but for me, one of the highlights I was anticipating was experiencing more of the local, fresh produce and flavours."
The Melanesian Port Vila Hotel
"Arranging airport transfers via Expedia’s messaging portal was a failure. Hotel quoted a price via the portal that I confirmed, but no one showed up at the airport. Had to pay much more for a taxi. Hotel staff didn’t have an explanation as to why the transfer wasn’t scheduled. At check in I requested a return transfer be scheduled on my departure day. They took my flight info and said to just confirm it the day before. When I went the day before to confirm they had no record of my request. The rooms are comfortable. Soap and shampoo supplied. Had a full kitchen but didn’t use it. The pools look well kept with plenty of seats but some of the walkways going to the rooms are in need of repair. Overall location is good. A short 10-15 minute walk to downtown waterfront restaurants and public market. They have an on-site Italian restaurant, Casa Mia. Waitress said I could sit anywhere but after doing so and getting comfortable, napkin on my lap, was then asked if I could move to a different table. They shouldn’t tell someone they can sit anywhere if they don’t mean it. That said, the food was delicious."
Iririki Island Resort & Spa
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful stay at Iririki Resort celebrating our wedding anniversary. We really appreciate everyone who made an effort to make our celebration so special. ❤️ We were so surprised and happy to come to our room and find our bed beautifully decorated, along with complimentary champagne and a lovely plate of fruit. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really made our anniversary feel extra special. A very big thank you to Max, the Operations Manager, for making sure we were well looked after. I especially appreciate his kindness and help while I was dealing with my foot injury. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, and that meant a lot to us. All the staff were lovely and welcoming. A special thank you to Isabel at the restaurant, Head Chef Albee,Princess, and Sous Chef Kent and beautiful Emma at the reception. They were all so kind, took the time to greet us and have a chat with us, and really made us feel welcome. They are truly exceptional. Thank you to the whole team at Iririki Resort for making our wedding anniversary such a beautiful and memorable experience. We truly appreciate all the effort, kindness, and hospitality. ❤️🥂🌴 We will definitely be back, really soon!"
Lagoon Gardens
"We really enjoyed our stay. The lagoon and tropical graden was a nice contrast from the sea and beach. Excellent value for money. Handy location to local transport and a choice of restaurants. Staff were super friendly. The pancakes at breakfast were legendary!"
Le Life Resort
"Lelife is set in beautiful gardens next to the sea. I stayed in a tent that was well set out. There was a kitchen that could do with more utensils etc. The shower was hot and clean. The food in the restaurant was very good. The staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay at Llife."
