Good food at restaurant South facing rooms will get quite warm, even with the air conditioning cranked. The a/c control on my room was finicky when dropping the temp. Breakfast had lots of choice and staff very friendly and polite. The roof top pool and restaurant make this a really nice hotel and excellent value for money. Transport is probably needed, however, I'm sure there are tuk-tuk's or taxis available.
