Welcome to my lovely luxe home, clean, quaint, quiet, and in the best neighborhood in South Philadelphia. My 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home gives a big historic city like Philadelphia a small town feel in an area with deep community roots. Great Location

We had a great stay here. The house was cery clean and communication with the property owner was amazing. The location was amazing. We were able tontake the train from Lancaster -then public transportation right around the corner from the house. There are many great restaurants within walking distance.

The home was well decorated, clean, and had a great space in the living room for conversations! Great location with an easy walk to restaurants, shop, and the subway. Enjoyed our time there for a long weekend.

Fabulous neighborhood, perfect for traveling with our pup!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was in a wonderful location with free street parking during the weekend, which was wonderful for our large pick up. It was also wonderful that the property had a ground floor living area with only 4-5 steps for the entry, since we were bringing in our bikes for the Philly Bike ride on the 19th. The living area was large and comfortable, with cable tv, and there was a small enclosed yard. The bedrooms were as described and beds were comfortable. Check in was easy as were check out instructions. The only caution I’d give to future guests is that this property is currently for sale, and supplies were a little spotty - no soap for the showers, no dishwashing detergent. We were fine for our short stay but good to ask about this if you;re staying longer. We absolutely loved the neighborhood though! Great parks and friendly restaurants nearby, coffee shops, and close to transit. Would definitely stay there again!

The place was unclean. The third floor bedrooms were unacceptable. The owners belongings are still around VRBO put him on the phone with me when I was complaining, which was totally unacceptable. And the owner was yelling at me. The dishwasher was broken, we ran out of toilet paper, there was a Christmas ornament under a table, there was no lightbulb in the reading area. My suggestion is find a different place and maybe use a different company.

Philly Trip

Pros: Really enjoyed the neighborhood and the surrounding area. Lots of quality walkable restaurants. Other main attractions were a short uber ride away. Parking was a bit challenging but not a major issue. Cons: As noted in the one review, the overall cleanliness was poor, and this home has a lot of unfinished work that needs to be completed i.e. vents w/o covers, missing wood in the upstairs floor, etc. The sofa in the main room was highly stained, and overall furniture quality was poor and or dirty. The sink in the main floor powder room had a significant crack in it. The master bedroom lamps had no light bulbs. There were 2 frying pans, that were highly scratched and unusable. We stripped the sheets on one of the beds (then stopped) bc the mattress had multiple stains on it. There's more but you get the idea. This could be a great VRBO but it needs to be made clean and comfortable for future guests who plan on having a clean home to enjoy on their trip.

Decent place in Philly for the right group of people

This property served us well for our time in Philly. However, there are a few things to be aware of, that I wish we knew before we booked. 1. This property is in south Philly. We knew this based on a map before we booked, but having never been to Philly before I had no idea what that meant. The streets are extremely small, and parking is difficult to almost impossible to obtain. I mention this because if you’re planning to drive a car in, you may have to park blocks away from the house. We were able to move the car closer the next morning, but then we just used Uber because we were terrified to lose our spot. 2. The host is extremely kind, and easy to communicate with. I feel like by the time you’re reading this review these issues might be resolved, but for us there were concerns over cleanliness. The floors had crumbs, the counters had some stains, there were areas upstairs with clutter in closets. There were also broken locks on front windows that made our security feel a little more tenuous. The house itself is beautiful, and well decorated inside. We were told the owner was switching to a new cleaner and would have a handyman fix the windows but that didn’t happen during our stay. 3. This house is old. Not a bad thing but it has very small areas, like the main floor bathroom. If you weigh more than 180 pounds sitting on the toilet and having room to turn could be tricky. The stairs are also extremely narrow. And steep. People who struggle with stairs or have mobility problems may have issues. There are no bedrooms on the main floor so everyone will have to climb stairs. The stairs also lean (likely due to age of house) so care should be taken. (Don’t run) The master and one other bedroom are on the second floor; the kid room is on the third floor and requires two more flights of stairs. 4. There are some safety concerns, the locks I mentioned before, the security system that doesn’t work (ADT), a back door that locks but could easily be broken in to. There are also some hazards like a piece of missing floorboard in front of the second bedroom. My father almost fell and tripped twice because of it. 5. The beds are comfortable, and the upstairs bathrooms are plenty big and adequate: the master toilet however is also small, and in a tiny closet. If you want a spacious area to relieve yourself, the second bedroom bath is your best bet. 6. There are plenty of kitchen amenities, and plenty of towels, trash bags, and toilet paper.

Upper bedroom was extremely hot, middle floor was quite hot until ac was turned quite lower than we typically would. Even then, the top bedroom stayed quite warm. We borrowed a box fan from family which helped quite a bit in that room. Home suffered from typical rental type issues-damaged furniture being the main one, but overall, it was a beautiful home in the perfect location for our needs.

Nice spot in South Philly

This is a great spot to stay in South Philly. Quiet street and neighborhood. Parking wasn't an issue for me. I was always able to park somewhere on the block. Anthony was a great host and reached out before and after our stay. Would definitely stay here again 5/5.

Philly Visit Jan. 24th. - 26th.

The property was way bigger than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The main floor was spacious and airy. The bedrooms are all a good size. The outdoor space in the back wasn’t used much, but it was nice to have. The house host was great to work with, very communicative. If this property is available the next time we visit Philly, we would definitely stay there again.

Good to be back home

Brought my family to Philly to go see the Dallas and eagles game and also experienced the mummers. The property is in a great neighborhood surrounded by great cafés restaurants and attraction. Great communication.

Very disappointing we had to leave

This was by far the worst experience with booking with VRBO non working oven, broken furniture, dishwasher was broke. Dirty pans broken fBrofurniture.

We Love This Property.

What a great trip. The property was perfect, clean comfortable, roomy. The neighborhood was amazing to walk around. It seems everyone had decorated for Halloween, and we walked through at night, taking pictures. We even had a nightcap at the bar on the corner. Parking is a bit of a challenge but we got super lucky, and parked in front of the door every single time. Our host couldn’t be better. He was easy reachable, responsive, and friendly. We would stay here again.

Spacious home in South Philly

Gorgeous, spacious home in great location. Parking is was what is to be expected in a city like Philly, hard to find but street parking is available within walking distance. Manager was easy to reach and it was a great stay.
