Phra Sumen Fort had an important defensive role during its time. Now a historic attraction, you can just imagine some of the spectacles its fortified walls have witnessed.
This history-filled fortress is often on the itineraries of travelers to Bangkok City Centre. But Phra Sumen Fort isn't the only drawcard in the area. Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and Temple of the Emerald Buddha are some other interesting sights nearby.
