First of all, the hotel is not beach front…. It is beach access from a side street. You are given a free pass for only one day for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. After that, the daily cost is 25 euro. Staff were very kind and willing to assist in any way. The breakfast was very good but did not change day to day. It was pretty much the same every day. There is no evening night life at this hotel. No bands, music etc. Guests gather around the pool nightly for cocktails with a view of the restaurant “Ninos”. A bit uncomfortable if you’re the ones having dinner.
The rooms are nice, spacious and clean with very comfortable beds but small showers. There are mini coffee makers in the room but not in the lobby and you are charged 3 euro for water in your fridge. My recommendations, rent a car, you are then free to explore the island. Stop at the supermercato for munchies and water. We bought an umbrella for 15 euro and bought a blanket.
Overall a nice stay but Pittolungo is a very quiet area at night. Perfect if you’re looking for quiet downtime with no crowds or loud music.
