Walked in and lobby looked and smelled like a 1979 bowling alley. I was exhausted and had a long day so I grab the keys to the room. The hallway to the room and the room itself still had a musty cigarette smell, so went straight back to front desk.
Booked through Expedia so hotel couldn’t give me a refund. When I called Expedia they said the hotel refused to give me a refund initially and then after 2 hours on the phone they refunded only 1 of the 2 days. Ernie is a poor example of hotel management. Stay far away from Heritage.
The Arts Hotel Lancaster was super clean and accommodating and will always be my choice returning to Lancaster.
