We loved our stay in the Love Shack near Piney Point. It’s a small, cozy retreat in a beautiful and rural part of Maryland. The place is very clean, comfortable, quiet, and the listing details are accurate. Owner Katie is extremely helpful and communicative. We hope to return some day.

Lovely Weekend Stay

My husband, myself, my 9 year old son, and my 5 year old dog stayed this past weekend at this property. We all loved it SO much - my son especially loved all the fun things there were to do inside the property alone. My dog loved the fenced in yard, but also the area in general is extremely dog friendly - which is a lot different where I'm from. Very clean property - one of the cleanest I have stayed. Thank you so much for the opportunity to allow my family to come stay for a lovely weekend.

We have stayed at many rentals and this was certainly one of our favorites! Katie is the most gracious host and was available to answer any questions we had. The house is beautifully decorated and the space is well-thought out. The house is fully stocked and we had everything we needed.My husband loved the hot tub and we both loved the huge yard! We both thought Katie's place delivered both a wonderful place to stay at a reasonable price. We will DEFINITELY return! Thanks, Katie!

Katie was a terrific host. The love shack was romantic and superbly serene. It was all we expected and more. Our lab, Lucy loved the yard where she could take in the tall trees and soft breezes, just as we did. The studio is not tiny and Katie offered everything you needed. Bring your tired, weary soul and you will be instantly rejuvenated! My husband enjoyed his birthday. Thank you!

The decorations are fun and the furniture is comfortable. The place was very clean. The hottub is a wonderful touch. The internet was able to keep up with work, video conferences and streaming. Private yard with plenty of great seating to enjoy the outdoors.

Wonderful Experience

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I and our two dogs. The large fenced yard was great to spend time in. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again!

House is very nice true to the photos on the website….. very cozy, very clean, great streaming channels…. Big beautiful tv….. kitchen needs serving utensils…. Kitchen very clean…. The bed needs a new mattress, mattress too soft and sinks in the middle….. outside yard great!!!!! My dog had a great time outdoors and we too…. Great fence, big PLUS!!!!… !!! Nice chairs and all that you need to enjoy the outdoors….We’re very satisfied and may go back soon!!!!
