The restaurant and bar were unfotunately closed so we had to drive if we didnt want to cook, as the hotel is a little tucked away. The room itself was very nice and the kitchenette was well equiped. The only downside was there wasn't anywhere to sit and eat,the balcony chairs had seen better days and only had a small drinks table and inside was a a sofa with a glass coffee table so...

The Gentleman on reception took us to our room, which was at the rear of the main hotel building. "Fantastic location, 7 minute walk from the beach and that was after the brilliant check in by Maria. We arrived slightly but the rooms were ready so we were allowed to check in.
Maria gave my son a spy themed colouring activity pack, which he loved! She was kind, genuine and helpful. She showed us different tourist attractions on the map and even offered to make a restaurant reservation for us if we needed it.
Breakfast was excellent too. Lots of choice and my son loved the Nutella on offer...

"The house is well equipped and comfortable and close to beautiful beaches. We enjoyed many walks and cycle rides, the amazing local boulangerie and the ice creams and sorbets of La Fraiseraie in Pornic. People were so friendly. Noirmoutier is worth a visit crossing over the causeway in one direction. We parked in the shade at Bois de la Chaise where there are picturesque walks and beaches. Highly recommended house and area.
