"Remote, lovely location with spectacular private beach and beautiful hikes on the ocean trail. Make sure you walk to Drake Bay (approximately an hour each way) and to Rio Clara (approximately 40 min.). We almost didn’t go to Pablo and Lucia’s as I wasn’t feeling well prior to our stay. So happy wewent as their open air house is very nice and Pablo, Lucia and Sophia were very helpful and delightful. We also recommend doing a Corcorvado National park tour which Pablo and Lucia organized for us. "

"This lovely hotel, in the tiny, unpretentious village of Drake Bay, was wonderful. I am an amateur wildlife photographer. The manager gave me Room 1, with an enormous window that looks out onto a guarumo tree. In this tree arrived, in turn, a toucan, a pair of aracaris, tanagers, tityrus, caracaras, golden-naped woodpeckers, multiple iguanas, hummingbirds - it was simply incredible. I took the best pictures I've ever taken. The pool and the bar are nice, and everyone is friendly. Just one thing: you will be waking up early. The woodpeckers and howler monkeys will take care of that. "

"The rooms were spacious with a beautiful outlook. It is walkable to the town. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was plentiful. The staff were friendly. "

"I was at the last cabana on the ridge. It had a kitchen in an attached room. It was great to bring back leftovers, make coffee and enjoy local fruit. There were 2 beds, a king and queen. The shower was walk in and everything worked well and was very clean. I ate at the table on the patio, enjoyed the hammock, and entertained by a multitude of birds, ant eater and ajouti. I would definitely come back."
