"Really enjoyed our stay at this property again! The house was clean and comfortable, both bedrooms were great and everything worked as it should. AC was nice and cold and the kitchen and fridge were clean and worked perfectly. Loved all the screened windows and doors and the tropical feel of the place. Great location for walking to Avellanas beach too. Ben was super helpful. Would definitely come back!"

"Amazing stay at George and Blythe’s beautiful home. We had a group of 10 family members across 3 generations that enjoyed every aspect of the house, but especially the outdoor living area. We spent most of our week outside enjoying the pool and all the amenities at the house and the community. The Beach Club was fantastic. But most importantly, the concierge team with Dani leading the charge made our stay even that much better with excellent planning and execution of our daily activities. "We had a wonderful stay in Tamarindo and would highly recommend this property.The home was absolutely beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. Everything was very well maintained, and the host guidebook was very helpful in explaining how to use the electronics, appliances, and other features in the house, which made our stay especially comfortable.The concierge team was exceptional. They were incredibly helpful with everything we needed—from directions and restaurant recommendations to reservations, transportation, shopping, referrals, and general questions about the area. No matter what we asked, they responded very quickly and always made things easy for us.We also arranged for someone to come in and help prepare breakfast, which was such a wonderful addition to our stay. The entire house staff was kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful.The combination of the beautiful property, wonderful staff, and excellent concierge service made our time in Tamarindo truly enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend both this property and the area to anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica. We would happily stay here again!"

"We had a great time at El Respiro. The house is large, well equipped and comfortable. We did not have any issues, but Alejandro was a very communicative and approachable host from early until check out. We will definitely look for this house again in our next beach holiday!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave. The property feels like a private tropical retreat right in the heart of Playa Avellanas. Everything was exactly as described, if not better.The location was perfect — an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and local shops, yet the property itself felt peaceful, quiet, and secluded behind the gated entrance. We especially loved walking through the mangrove boardwalk to the beach every morning and watching the sunsets in the evenings.The home was incredibly comfortable and spacious. The California king beds were amazing, the AC worked perfectly, and the 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets honestly felt like something from a luxury hotel. The house was spotless and thoughtfully designed with beautiful local art and antiques throughout.One thing that surprised us was how relaxing the property felt. We spent hours in the hammocks listening to the sounds of nature, and we saw monkeys and parrots right on the property during our stay.The WiFi was strong enough for remote work and streaming, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The large dining area and extra living space made it perfect for our family to spread out and relax comfortably.Ben was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had — extremely communicative, helpful, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience.
