"This was the second time staying at Maple Leaf in November. I stayed in the room on the very end and it was great. Room was very clean, bathroom also very clean. They had a rug and tray for my snowy boots. The bed felt new and was comfortable. I’d describe it has medium-firm. I will stay here again. "

"I have used this place last year, although new owners, the service and the safety of the motel hasn’t changed. It is a great place to stay. There is a pool and fire pit, I will return next year for sure Kim"

"Had an awesome stay at this place There was no pool, however we enjoyed the beach, hottub and the the ambience it created for a night with campire fire and beautiful calm neighborhood. "

"The hosts were great! They replied promptly to any inqueries we had. The property was very well stocked with amenities and supplies. We particularly enjoyed the walking trail along Lake Huron. Access to the trail was just a couple of minute walk down the street. We highly recommend this property!"

I was assured that everything will be cleaned:Good morning I am just now reading some reviews on your property (I know I should have done this before) and noticed the reviews are not very good. The reviews are from 2023...have anything been done to the property since then?I hope it will be cleaned when we get there please. One of the reviews said it not cleaned at all.I would hate to disappoint my family and friends. We are all really looking forward to these few days away FaazyaHere is a list of all the problems I have encounteredupon arrival to the property:- Some of my guests arrived at 2:45 pm and had to wait outside as the house was still being cleaned. At 3:12 pm the kids needed to use the bathroom- BBQ is dirty (picture)- dishwasher dirty and unusable - microwave covered in food splatters - coffee maker is too dirty to be used- beds were not made. Blankets were thrown over unmade beds which means the beds sheets were not changed. this morning everyone complained there beds smelled .- hot tubs doesn't work (everyone was looking forward to using the hot tub)- Towels are old and smelly.- A used bar of soap was left in the bathroom for shower and a used shampoo and conditioner bottle .- towel rack will soon fall off - there is dust and cobweb everywhere. every surface is covered in dust.to be honest I am very embarrassed that I brought my family to this place. the experience has been very bad so far."
