"Great hotel in the heart of Port Louis. Rooms are large and well-equipped. The staff are extremely helpful, relaxed and professional, they make you feel welcome for sure. The hotel restaurants are good and in the immediate area around the hotel there are lots of cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended!"

Drawbacks would be that the beach was rough w shells but wearing water shoes helped. Wine was very expensive! We were warned but it was still a shock !"

Without kids running around, it made for a quieter and more relaxing stay. Everything was lovely from our room to the grounds to the available water activities. "Overall, our stay at the home was very pleasant. If you are looking for a way to immerse yourself in Mauritius as a “local” then I would recommend staying here. The home is right on the beach with a west facing view so it gets beautiful sunsets. Devi the house manager is also great and comes to keep the place clean and tidy during your stay. The host is responsive as well.Of note, Devi only speaks French so the language barrier can be tough if you don’t know the language. I would also recommend giving the home number in the address within check in instructions. It was very difficult to find the house without it."

Staff were all lovely and you didn’t feel any sort of resentment from anyone which can be the case sometimes.
Breakfast was great everyday and their limited dinner option was something that we tried a few times because the chefs really were very good at their jobs .
The building is a lovely old hotel but needs a little bit of attention as it is starting to get a little bit scruffy . That being said , it was very comfortable and we definitely were very happy with our stay there and would re-book with them "

"We just cannot rate this property highly enough. Absolutely fantastic stay. From initial contact to the sad time we said goodbye communication has been excellent. The property is spacious and clean, it has everything you need. The pool is very private and welcoming after a day out exploring. The villa is in a quiet residential area, you do need a car though to explore. Two short roads to the public beach and lovely little corner shop. The residential cat and her kittens were a delight. Would definitely stay here again. "
