The beach was a bit disappointing , it was not sandy . However the Hotel was a peaceful retreat . The hotel room was ideal if you were self catering but there were many varied good restaurants nearby as well . We would definitely return and would highly recommended it . "

"We loved our stay at Arcadia Lodge. Greg & Peter were amazing hosts. The room was extremely clean & comfortable, with a beautiful view. The breakfasts were so delicious every morning & prepared superbly by Peter & delivered expertly by Greg.The house is old, but so well maintained & beautifully furnished. Just so much character. An easy walk in to town & the beach. We truly hope we are able visit again!"

"Set above the gables restaurant, the place is on the strand with unbeatable ocean view.The only downside is noise from the gables when they play music below. Didn’t worry us, but some others might not like that. Place was clean, with tons of character. "
