"We were in two rooms below ground level, which were quiet, but no airflow. One room had a shower that was too small for an adult. They were clean and relatively comfortable otherwise. Breakfast was pastry and yogurt. We were able to park in one of the garages, otherwise, parking could be difficult. The location is awesome - very hard to find initially - it looks like it’s impossible to get to, but once you know, you know. Guessing that their other rooms may be nicer."

"in 44 years of traveling around the world this was the worse and demeaning Hotel experience ever had( payment was made in advance BTW )! i cannot say anything about the accommodations because i never made it in!!! After an exhausting and temultuous

"This was a lovely old hotel with perfect attention to detail. We had dinner there both nights (area is quite remote) and were not disappointed.

It is a beautifully preserved example of Norman architecture and we felt very privileged to stay there . Gisela is a very responsive and helpful host who provides lots of information about restaurants and places to visit locally . Staff generally not friendly or helpful. Did not offer to assist bags up or down the hotel steps for guests in their senior years. WiFi practically useless. Kept dropping out
