The Space:

Welcome to our cozy and private Mother-in-Law Suite — perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking a quiet, centrally located stay in Portland’s Alberta Arts District. This self-contained suite features a plush queen bed, private bathroom, and kitchenette, making it ideal for short- or mid-term stays.



Enjoy your own separate entrance, smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, and air conditioning for a comfortable and connected experience. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, sink, and essentials for prepping light meals. While there is no closet, a small hanging rack or wall hooks are provided for your convenience.



Please note: This unit is attached to a larger home, but fully separated with no shared spaces. The interior hallway shown in one photo connects to the main house and is locked off. For your privacy, a sound-dampening curtain covers the interior door during your stay.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of the private suite and its separate entrance. There are no shared indoor spaces. Street parking is free and usually available right in front.

Wake up and stroll to Proud Mary for coffee, grab a Thai brunch at Hat Yai, or take the kids to Alberta Park just a few blocks away. Don’t miss the vibrant Last Thursday art walk or a cone from the original Salt & Straw. This neighborhood is buzzing with energy and walkable charm while still feeling residential and relaxed.



Getting Around:

This is one of Portland’s most walkable neighborhoods. You’re just steps from Alberta’s best food, art, and shopping. Easy access to transit, bike routes, and rideshare. 15 minutes to downtown and 20 to the airport.



Other Things to Note:

There is a separate Airbnb unit upstairs which may be booked by other guests during your stay. Both units have private entrances and no interior overlap. We’ve taken steps to ensure peace and privacy for all guests.
