![Belem Tower is located in the town of Bethlehem, county and district of Lisbon in Portugal. On the right bank of the Tagus river, where there was once the beach of Bethlehem, it was originally surrounded by water around its perimeter. Over the centuries it was surrounded by the beach, even today incorporate the land.

One of the "ex libris" of the city, the monument is an icon of architecture of the reign of Manuel I of Portugal, in a synthesis between the tradition menagemde medieval tower and baluartemoderno where it had artillery pieces.

Over time the tower lost its defense function of the Tagus bar and, from the Philippine occupation, old barns gave way to the dungeons. “The apartment was exactly as listed. Beautiful decorated and spacious. 3 large bedroom & 2.5 bathroom. The host was amazing. The host was there for check in to answer any questions. He regularly checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Location was perfect! Amazing to be able to walk up everything morning with the sound & view of the ocean. Highly recommended!”

“Nous sommes content de l'espace de l’appartement et de sa situation dans la ville, la description est OK et l'appartement refait à neuf est plutôt joli. Mais nous avons des difficultés pendant notre séjour avec l’électricité. A notre arrivée (un samedi soir) nous avons lancé TV+Plaque+ Four faisant disjoncté le système de l'appartement. (Il faut en fait attendre une minute avec le disjoncteur éteint pour pouvoir relancer le tout). Nous n'avions aucune info sur la remise en route pas de contact……
