"Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

"We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a broader trip through Germany as we toured Rugen And Usedom. This is a remote hotel within walking distance to the Baltic Sea in the quaint little small town of Devin. The rooms are a decent size for Germany and they were clean and comfortable. The staff spoke little English but were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites in Germany with exceptional schnitzel! it was five stars! Would definitely stay here again."

"Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber, modern und claen eingerichtet, Küche hat leider kein Gefrierfach und keine Microwelle. Im Bad gibt es nur wenige Ablagemöglichkeiten, mit einer Familie (4 Personen) eindeutig zu wenig. Sonst haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt."

"Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war ausgezeichnet. Von uns gemeldete Sachverhalte konnten somit rasch geklärt und gelöst werden. Danke dafür!Gästen, die so wie wir, mit dem ÖPNV über Greifswald anreisen, sei gesagt, dass der Bus nur zweimal am Tag mit Umstieg in Kemnitz verkehrt und es, außer dem zwei Kilometer entfernten Kramerladen am Camping Platz Loissin (bis 17:00!), fußläufig keinerlei Einkaufsmöglickeit im Ort gibt. Als Fahrradverleih mit Bring- und Holservice der Räder empfehlen wir WL - BikeRental in Wusterhusen."

"Wenn Du noch das Ostseefeeling wie vor 30 Jahren suchst (keine Bettenburgen, nicht jede Baulücke zugebaut), dann passt Karlshagen sehr gut! Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt - gleich hinter den Dünen. Ostsee - Strand - Entspannung! Wir haben einfach nichts zu meckern .... und unser Köti fand es auch seeehr hundefreundlich ..."
