“My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. For us it was a last-minute getaway. The price was very reasonable. The property was well kept. The innkeepers were very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. The breakfasts were very good. The location is about ten minutes away from the beach at Nags Head. The steps are quite steep but as mentioned elsewhere quite typical of the time period the home was built in early 1900's. I'm 73 and had no problem with carrying suitcases up the stairs. “The hotel prides itself on the wonderful breakfast it prepares and serves, it’s fit for a king. The hotels location is in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Unbeknownst to us our room was on the third floor accessible up a narrow staircase, a bit of a challenge for a 83 yr. old couple.”
