Wifi was non-existent which for this trip was an inconvenience since I was hoping to get some work done in the evenings. Place is quite charming and very convenient. No info about the TV which would have been nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved this location. I have never stayed here before and took a chance and it was so nice. Beautiful grounds and nice quiet atmosphere. The breakfast pass at the Dunes was amazing. The only downfall is there are no elevators so if you are on the 3rd floor (like we were) you have to climb the stairs, which wasn't a problem for us but may be for some people. Definitely would stay there again.

We stayed here over 4th of July weekend. The location is excellent, the room was clean (maybe a tiny bit antiquey smelling), the staff was perfectly lovely, and we enjoyed the grounds and large room. They offered vouchers for two local breakfast diners, as they don’t currently have a chef on staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Beautiful Inn- so glad a historical part of the Outer Banks still exists. Love the private walkway to the beach; very convenient and the beach wasn't crowded for the end of the summer season. Wish they had a Chef...the only drawback was not having the breakfast on-site. The breakfast vouchers helped. Will definitely come back to stay! The wrap around porch with the breezes from the sound and ocean were wonderful!!

This is a charming old inn in a convenient location. It doesn’t have many amenities but it was fine for the price. It was very convenient to have a code for the rooms as opposed to a key. There was coffee on site but not breakfast. We found out on our second day that we could get a voucher for breakfast at a local restaurant. I wish I had known the first morning we were there. The rooms are small but fine for 2 days. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but we really enjoyed staying there.
