“The only issue we had during our stay was the power lines that obstruct the "ocean view". We stayed in cottage #8 right on the street at the front of the building. The "Ocean View" is somewhat exaggerated because there is two houses and lots of power lines between the cottage and the water. Saltair's website does not accurately display or mention this. “Had only 1 working elevator and it stopped working twice during our stay. The first incident, the elevator was not working for almost 12 hours. We were on the 3rd floor and my husband has hip issues. He had difficulty getting up and down the stairs. Plus, we had a non-walking child and she had to be carried up and down the stairs. Our room had several items and trash left from the people before us. The staff was friendly though.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Outer Banks Motor Lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. “The room was very clean and had no unpleasant odors. The refrigerator and microwave were also very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and had exactly what I was looking for. My kids and I really enjoyed it. The hotel has direct access to the beach, which was very convenient.
