Drake Inn was right by the beach, which made our stay amazing. Fun decorations, very walkable location, and nice rooms with accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend!

Clean spacious room, hot shower, steps from beach and breakfast room with beautiful beach views, nearby beachfront restaurant 2 doors down was perfect to end the day. Quiet, kind staff. Would 100% recommend and stay again (stayed with our family that includes young children)

Great smaller hotel right on the beach. Rooftop terrace was great for morning or evening views. Easy walking distance from town. Staff was very helpful. We were a family with two teens and had the 2 bedroom family room which was great for some privacy. We loved this place and would definitely return. The island is beautiful and I would try to spend more time here if possible in your trip.

Carlos the owner went above and beyond his duties to find an available a taxi at 5am to take us to the port the day we were living,because the driver that I had reserved didn't show up!

The right room but the wrong room. Wow! "The perk of being an Expedia Platinum member" was my immediate thought when we were escorted to our room with a private balcony and access to a jacuzzi (that the desk agent told us wasn't actually heated) . An amazing upgrade that quickly dissolved in 2 hours when a knock woke us as the FD agent had checked us into the wrong room, and we were then forced to pack and move to a much smaller room. That was the start of our stay. The next day, breakfast was scheduled to start at 7AM, it didn't until 7:05, and we had a tour for 7:15 (which is a 11 min walk)- The Drake was late for breakfast; didn't accommodate with either earlier access nor box breakfast for those who have to leave earlier (the hotel we stayed at on Santa Cruz did for example). Their breakfast was actually sub-par for the 3 digit room rate, eg: eggs (must waste time to boil yourself), I think the breakfast belongs in the super express continental breakfast category (terrible coffee). Our room was cramped with a chaotic shower-head (spraying onto the toilet seat). I would honestly say that our room was over-priced by 20% (I'm in the Travel & Hospitality industry). The PROS: - Good location (right at the beach) - Outdoor shower & foot wash & hammock (didn't use) - Lots of books to borrow from (didn't use) - They're improving (notable minor-construction onsite).

While quite a basic, simple hotel, it was very clean and well run, comfortable beds and good quality linen. The manager, Rebekka, was great and had really good advice on restaurants and excursions.

Wonderful two week stay at the Drake Inn while volunteering on the island. It is right across the street from a beautiful, quiet, and pristine section of the beach and steps away from the entrance to the trail to the Wall of Tears, and close to a variety of places to eat, shop, and hang (Pink Iguana bar!). Our rooms (the superior twin and double) were clean and nice with comfortable beds, fridges, and places to store our clothes. The hot water situation was decent (better than most places), the breakfast was simple but good, and the roof deck was hardly used by anyone else and was lovely (amazing views and a sun-heated jacuzzi). My one note is we could never figure out how to turn the AC off of auto and it would go on and off a lot in the early hours of the morning, which woke us up. Ear plugs helped.

Heavenly

This was our favorite hotel during our 2-week Galapagos trip. The view is amazing. The Inn Keepers are very friendly and accommodating. They offer many conveniences including breakfast, clothes washing area, outdoor shower, luggage storage etc.

Wonderful

It is a beautiful hotel across the street from the beach. Wonderful views and sitting areas. Close to town. Relaxing. Clean room with refrigerator. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was simple but fresh and exactly what we needed.

Great spot

We loved our time at the Drake Inn. We spent four nights with our four and six-year-old. The location was perfect. 50 feet from the beach. The staff was really helpful. They provided sand toys and boogie boards for our kids to play with, helped us arrange travel, and even stored our bags for us and let us borrow their outdoor shower after our stay was completed. We'd definitely stay there again.

Wonderful hostess Rebecca and delicious breakfast!

Rebecca greeted me at the door and for the next five evenings, she made me feel at home and gave me lots of advice for best activities and how to see the animals I wanted to see 💚 the breakfast was made to order eggs, fruit, granola, bread, and fresh juice and delicious! The views from the room either face the beach or the lagoon in the back where flamingos can be spotted. I will definitely stay again when I return to Isabella!

We had a very nice 3-days stay, all was very clean and comfortable. Room was large and with nice design i The team was helpful and friendly. Only improvement could be the breakfast with some cheese, vegetables and oats. We couldn’t use the jacuzzi, was in work. The location is fantastic direct to the beaches. We moved this place, from its location right across the beach, to the decor and service. The place is spotless and the room’s decor and furnishing were top notch. Comfortable beds and the perfect view. Our room led to a mini jacuzzi and it was perfect for relaxing after a day full of tours and activities. Rebekka and the while staff were very kind, diligent and professional. I highly recommend this place. Worth the price.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Es liegt etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums, dieses ist jedoch innerhalb weniger Gehminuten erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war für 2 Personen sehr klein, das Bett nur 120x180cm gross. Dafür gibt es eine grosse Terasse und einen Garten zur gemeinsamen Nutzung.

The family suite is spacious. The rooms are clean and the receptionist Rebecca is very helpful. The property is right by the beach so it was very easy to have a relaxing day for the kids (and for the adults to observe the animals). Please note that breakfast is not included in the family suite booking. Somehow this is not super clear on the booking page.
