Setting the precedent for an upscale experience. This impressive two bedroom apartment is in downtown Raleigh in the coveted Historic Oakwood.

This condo is in a FANTASTIC location! Conveniently located just minutes from Downtown Raleigh, Cameron Village, Midtown and North Hills, which hosts some of Raleigh`s premier restaurants, shopping and nightlife. NCSC is just minutes away, 10 minutes to PNC Arena and the NC State Fairgrounds and a quick 15 minute drive to RDU International Airport.
No smoking of any kind indoors, no parties or gatherings, no pets, and all guests must be noted on the reservation. Failure to abide by the house rules will be cause for the loss of the deposit.

The Host is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressively assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order and only use appliances for their intended uses.

We allow children with the following stipulations:

- Guests are responsible for any and all necessary `baby proofing`
- Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times

PLEASE NOTE: There is a camera monitoring access in and out of the condo. It is only on the outside of the condo at each entrance, there are no cameras inside the condo. There is a noise monitoring device inside the condo, this detects noise levels only without recording or listening.

CANCELLATION POLICY Free cancellation for 48 hours, as long as the guest cancels at least 14 days before check-in (time shown in the confirmation email) After that, guests can cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate and the cleaning fee. For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).

Lacrosse and Lemurs

We came to Raleigh for my daughter’s lacrosse tournament and extended a day to go to the Duke Lemur Center. The location was great. Walking distance in a quiet neighborhood to several restaurants and a short drive to downtown and to our events. If she does that tournament next year, i will try to book it again.

Quiet and convenient

We enjoyed the peaceful and lovely neighborhood which is within walking distance to restaurants. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed.

Overall, we had a great stay at this property! It was very well stocked with everything we could need, and so convenient to walk to from the Person Street area. It was easy to remove a few decor items to make it safe for a baby to play around while attended. I suggest that the host add some blackout curtains to the front room because it was extremely bright from the street lamp at night (picture taken at midnight attached) and hard to sleep. Otherwise, no complaints!

Rad Raleigh Stay

The house is in a great location, not too far from the city itself but in a quiet neighborhood. The house was cozy and clean, the space was big enough for our family and met all of our needs. The host communicated thoroughly and we had no issues checking in. Thanks for the great stay!

Excellent, excellent location! Everyone jept tellimg us how lucky we were to be staying in such a fantastic neighborhood. Quiet, respectful, welcoming and inclusive historic neighborhood. We were close to many restaurants and were within distance to ride electric scooters to other areas. We did experience an issue on our last night with the AC. The property managers were responsive and worked towards fixing the issue. The bathroom could use a deep clean and some new paint, otherwise the property was great.

Great location in classic Oakwood neighborhood. Unit is older (as is most of the neighborhood) and could benefit from updating- especially the bathroom & shower Towels, linens etc were clean and adequate but are due for replacement Host was responsive when contacted with questions & requests

Chill Time with a Friend

Used property as meeting place for visit with out-of-state friend. Spent three days seeing the sights and sampling the restaurants of Raleigh. Property was just the right "homebase". Much better way to kick back, relax, and catch up with a friend than in a hotel room. Property met all of our expectations!

In town for a wedding. This location was perfect, a mile from each event. Very quiet neighborhood. Would like to suggest better frying pans as one was very small, the other more like a wok. Hard to cook breakfast. Very comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Nice little triplex unit good for a short stay

This rental was in a lovely residential neighborhood close to downtown (walkable, but a longish walk). The beds were very comfy. The shower was good, but the bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint. We were only there for a few days, so didn't cook, but the kitchen looked like it had all the necessities for preparing meals. I do wish the bedrooms had dressers or shelves for our clothes so we didn't have to live out of our suitcases. Overall, a very nice place.

Great location

Loved the neighborhood and walk-ability of area. Kitchen could use some additional cookware, including larger bowls. Bedrooms could use small dressers and mirrors. Overall layout was great. Biggest complaint was the AC and humidity inside the home. Not sure how to fix it, but I think the AC could use an upgrade. Would consider staying again, for sure, but maybe in the cooler months!

Wonderful Raleigh visit

Midge Hunt’s vrbo on Elm was perfect for our stay. The neighbor wants historical and beautiful. The rental space was 5 star. I was disappointed that I couldn’t use the inviting outdoor seating because it was too hot. Midge returned my text promptly when I had a question. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to be close to downtown Raleigh.
