“We wanted to check out the area for a possible move coming up. Although, it was a bit more in the woods and up into the mountain than I had realized (people were not kidding when they said to make sure you have 4 wheel drive) it was a really great stay for us. My husband and two sons had to meet us there the second day so I guess that is why the cabin straight in the woods was a bigger deal to me and my daughter going it alone. “The cabin was beautifully decorated and had every amenity imaginable. The sauna and the fishing pier were a huge hit with our family. We relaxed in the covered porch drinking our coffee in the mornings and hiked in the nearby trails; A perfect family stay. We will be back! ”

“This is a cozy, cute A-frame with everything you need for a perfect get-away. Alison communicated all the details and had nice welcome treats for us. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for meal prep and the location is quiet and conveniently located to reach Shenandoah NP and some local wineries.”

“This was THE perfect spot for one last hurrah/downtime before the school year and sports pick back up. It was remote and quiet with cover water access and kayaks. Everything in the kitchen works beautifully and their is plenty of beds and space to spread out. We really enjoyed our stay”

There was no phone service as listed, unfortunately we did have an issue with there being no active emergency phone line.
